Description

The most abundant fossil material found in Winton, Queensland are sauropod fossils. These fossils are from long-necked, long-tailed dinosaurs that roamed Queensland millions of years ago. Sauropods are one of the most recognisable groups of dinosaurs, and have become a fixture in popular culture due to their impressive size.

Meet the maker.

This jewellery has been made by local palaeontologist Adele Pentland. Adele is studying Australian pterosaurs as part of her PhD through Swinburne University, subsiding her research through the sale of these fashionable creations.
