Description

Miniritchie (Acacia cyperophylla) is a small tree that grows up to 7m high. It has distinctive bark that peels off in thin red curly strips. Cylindrical leaves grow up to 13cm long and end in sharp points.

These earrings were inspired by the miniritchie at Bladensburg National Park and along the Jundah Road in Winton, Queensland.

Finish Solid brass, electro-plated with rose gold silver finish. Ear wires are hypo-allergenic.  These rose gold earrings are curly rather than coiled, to capture the curly flakes of reddish brown bark that continuously peel from the tree. The curls have etched lines on one side to ensure the earrings are lively and slight, while also highlighting the organic shape of miniritchie bark.

Dimensions Hangs approx 3cm (gift boxed with provenance card).

This is an exclusive product to the Australian Age of Dinosaurs Museum, part of the Museum's contemporary flora range.
