Description

Lancewood (Acacia shirleyi) is a small single-stemmed tree that grows up to 15m high. Its rough textured bark is dark grey to black and the grey-green leaves point upwards.

These earrings were inspired by the flowers of the lancewood at the Australian Age of Dinosaurs Museum, Bladensburg National Park and Lark Quarry Conservation Park in Winton, Queensland.

Finish Solid brass, electro-plated with gold finish and giclée print. Ear wires are gold plated. These gold earrings highlight the spectacular dense flower-spikes characteristic of lancewood trees against their distinctive bluey-grey foliage.

Dimensions Hangs approx 3cm (gift boxed with provenance card).

This is an exclusive product to the Australian Age of Dinosaurs Museum, part of the Museum's contemporary flora range.
