Description

Tempskya judithae is an extinct tree fern from the Cretaceous Period, discovered near Winton and named in 2005 in honour of Australian Age of Dinosaurs co-founder Judy Elliott. This distinctive plant thrived in the mid-latitudes of Gondwana, and its fossils provide valuable insights into Australia’s Cenomanian ecosystems, revealing the richness and diversity of the prehistoric environments that once existed here.

Finish Solid brass, electro-plated with non-tarnishing silver finish, giclee print with hypo-allergenic ear posts. Silicified Tempskya judithae fossils were found in Winton Formation sediments at Belmont and Wongan stations near Winton, Queensland.

Dimensions Hangs approx 5cm (gift boxed with provenance card).

This is an exclusive product to the Australian Age of Dinosaurs Museum, part of the Museum's prehistoric flora range.
