This necklace celebrate the ammonite, a cephalopod mollusc (related to squids and octopi) which lived in the primordial seas. Although ammonites left behind shells in a bewildering variety of shapes and sizes, they left little evidence of what their bodies looked like. Here, we have reconstructed what a living ammonite might have looked like.

This ammonite necklace is assembled in two parts, creating a bi-coloured finish of antiqued brass and antiqued pewter.

  • Material: Genuine pewter
  • Size: 2.5cm long x 1.7cm high x 1.1cm wide
  • Designed by sculptor Chris Taylor
