Description

The wing-fingered pterosaurs, close relatives of the dinosaurs, ruled the skies throughout the Mesozoic. Ferrodraco, with its delicate crest, pointed teeth and vast but lightly-constructed wings, caught fish and flew over the heads of dinosaurs in northeast Australia during the mid-Cretaceous.

Meet the maker.

This jewellery has been made by local palaeontologist Adele Pentland. Adele is studying Australian pterosaurs as part of her PhD through Swinburne University, subsiding her research through the sale of these fashionable creations.
