Description

Named in honour of Australian palaeontologist Dr Mary Wade, Emwadea is an ancient conifer seed cone collected from the Winton Formation on a low ridge traversing Lovelle Downs and Elderslie stations in Winton Queensland. It was found in an abundant plant deposit, suggesting that 95 million years ago the Winton region was covered in lush, tropical vegetation.

Finish Solid brass, electro-plated with non-tarnishing silver finish, giclee print with hypo-allergenic ear posts. The ancient colour from the fossilised conifer seed cone makes an exciting statement, highlighting the powerful yet organic swirls of this prehistoric plant.

Dimensions Hangs approx 4cm (gift boxed with provenance card).

This is an exclusive product to the Australian Age of Dinosaurs Museum, part of the Museum's prehistoric flora range.
